Journée « La vie après » à l’IUCT Oncopole, le 12 octobre

« L’après cancer » est pour de nombreuses patientes un cap difficile à franchir. Renouer avec sa féminité, reprendre le travail, se réapproprier un corps fatigué par la maladie et les traitements, retrouver ses repères dans sa vie sociale et familiale, autant d’étapes qui peuvent se transformer en véritables épreuves.


Le comité de sénologie et le département de soins de support de l’IUCT Oncopole proposent le 12 octobre un programme complet composé d’une table ronde, dix ateliers découverte, deux conférences, destiné à les accompagner dans cette vie d’après.

La journée « La vie après », qui s’inscrit dans le cadre du mois  d’information  « Octobre  rose », va réunir pour la première fois patients, accompagnants, soignants, chercheurs et entreprises autour de cette thématique cruciale pour les femmes touchées par un cancer.

Deux conférences
« Les enjeux de l’après-cancer », avec le professeur Guy Laurent
« Cancer du sein et après ? », avec le professeur Henri Roché

Dix ateliers
Soin bien-être, Conseils en image de soi, Ostéopathie, Sophrologie, Gymnastique, Escrime, Touch Rugby, Marche nordique, Gymnastique aux agrès dans le jardin, Soins socio-esthétiques.

Une table ronde
« Le retour au travail après un cancer ou une maladie chronique : quels enjeux pour l’entreprise et le salarié ? »

The Breast Cancer Coordination Committee consists of a group of specialists that examines every case and decides on the most appropriate therapies and treatment pathways to offer each patient, whichever specialties the treatment calls upon.

The committee also fosters innovation by suggesting possible avenues for developing new diagnostic techniques and therapies, and by conducting clinical trials.

Since February 2018, patients have been able to make appointments and obtain information about all types of women’s cancer by calling a single number: 05 31 15 60 61

Oncogenetics

The Ongogenetics Coordination Committee takes care of patients with a hereditary predisposition to breast or ovarian cancer.
