The medical imaging department comprises a radiology department, a nuclear medicine department and a radio senology department.

  • Diagnostic imaging

- 1 MRI room
- 2 ultrasound rooms

- 2 radiology rooms (1 flat panel digital system + 1 dental panoramic system)

  • Imaging for breast screening

- 1 mammography unit
- 1 mammotome
- 3 ultrasound rooms

  • Nuclear imaging

- 2 rooms equipped with gamma cameras 
- 1 PET scan room - Discovery IQ (1st installation in the world)
- 1 injection room
- 1 scintimammography device
- 1 thyroid uptake counter system

Patients can make appointments with the three departments from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00.


Innovation

The department has two objectives:

  1. To allow patients to benefit from a high-level technological platform. Functional/molecular imaging will be developed for breast imaging, radionuclide imaging and MRI.
  2. To become the regional reference hub for certain diagnostic approaches, in particular breast imaging, functional imaging and hematology.
