Data protection

Amended Law No. 78.17 of 6 January 1978 ensures that information technology is at the service of all citizens and does not negatively affect human identity, privacy, or individual or public freedoms.
In accordance with Article R.61 13-7 of the Code of Public Health, we inform you that:
•    your personal data will undergo automated processing in the terms specified by the Law of 6 January 1978;
•    this data, which is protected as confidential medical data, is passed on to the physician who is responsible for medical information in the establishment, via the practitioner responsible for the medical structure where you received care or the practitioner who created your file;
•    you have a right to oppose the collection and processing of your personal data, for legitimate reasons, in the terms specified by Article 38 of the Law of 6 January 1978 referred to above;
•    under the provisions of this article, your right of opposition may be exercised provided that the processing of the personal data in question is not a legal requirement.

The "Commission nationale informatique et libertés" (CNIL) – the French Data Protection Authority - is the agency responsible for enforcing this law.
